It’s been five years since she landed her dream job on “Wizards of Waverly Place,” and Selena Gomez recently revealed how she spent her very first paycheck.
The teen star, whose roots remain grounded, told, "I think [my first paycheck] went into living [in Los Angeles] because we had to move from Texas, so I think we just had to pay for it.”
Although she has more than enough to spend now, Gomez went on to say that she’s never been a big spender, admitting that her only splurge was a modest $34,000 Ford Escape she got for her 16th birthday.
Additionally, the brunette beauty has been known for her low key lifestyle and budget friendly purchases like when she was once spotted wearing a $23 dress from Forever 21 on the red carpet.
