New images from Sony’s much-buzzed about reboot, The Amazing Spider-Man have been released, revealing scenes from the movie that fans have been waiting two years for. Set for a July 3rd, 2012 release, Spider-Man stars Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy.
The idea for a reboot came in January 2010, when Sony decided to scrap plans for a fourth installment starring the original Peter Parker, Tobey Maguire. Since the announcement of Garfield’s casting, Maguire gave the rising star his blessing.
The blockbuster also stars Sally Field, Denis Leary, Martin Sheen, and Rhys Ifans.
