In the clip, a young couple learn (via drinking a can of Pepsi, naturally) that each moment should be lived to its fullest. A remix of Nicki’s 2011 hit “Moment 4 Life” plays as the pair wander through several scenes that are frozen in time — from people on a summer day hanging out on a city street and beach-goers playing volleyball to a fashion show attended by Betsey Joh

Nicki Minaj Talks Comparisons to Lady Gaga

She’s fiercely independent and aggressively creative, and Nicki Minaj isn’t looking to be compared to anyone else.

And the “Super Bass” songstress told “Nightline” that she’s tired of folks drawing parallels between herself and Lady Gaga.

Nicki began, “First of all, I”m a rapper... I’m from Southside Jamaica, Queens. What are the similarities? Gaga is a fantastic artist… She’s opened her own lane, but I feel like I have my own lane, and we never cross… EVER!”

Minaj continued, “I don’t want to offend moms or children… BUT, I didn’t come in the game to be an artist that would appeal to kids. I’m a crazy lunatic.”

Nicki Minaj's Best Buy Harlem Album Promotional Visit

As her latest album hit store shelves, Nicki Minaj set out to make a few promotional appearances, one of which was at the Best Buy in Harlem, NYC on Tuesday (April 3).

Looking fabulous in a blinged out jacket over a tight star-covered leotard with dark blue tights and leopard print pumps, the "Moment 4 Life" singer greeted fans while also posing for pictures as she proudly held up her album, "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded".

Nicki let out a little excitement over her sophomore effort dropping, as she tweeted earlier in the day, "106&Park tonite as well as my NYC signing @ BestBuy!!!! Aaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!! See ya soon barbz!!!!!"

And while there's plenty of positive comments, criticism has already begun, as well, as one of the biggest complaints is that the 29-year-old decided to split up the album between rap and dance/pop.

But, then again, that's exactly what some fans love about it, as @Craggleprice tweeted, "The album is amazing!! it's got Rap, Pop, Dance and Ballads! best album! Drake and Lil Wayne Collabs r amazing! it all is!"

The appearance comes shortly after Miss Minaj made headlines thanks to a controversial Catholic-themed exorcism performance at the 2012 Grammy Awards.

Responding to the critics, Nicki told Entertainment Weekly, “I don’t know, what is the big issue? You know how people write plays and movies? That’s what I did. I wrote that and I gave the world a tiny little preview of what’s to come. And I have to perform it on the set in which the movie would be, right?”

Nicki Minaj Wears The Crown For ‘VIBE’ Magazine

Nicki Minaj continues to reign over VIBE in the cover spread for the mag's latest issue. "I'm not gonna change who I am. The fashion world will have to come to Nicki Minaj, as opposed to Nicki Minaj trying to go to the fashion world," Barbz told VIBE.

Nicki Minaj Turns Blue for Vogue March 2012

She's not one to pass up on the opportunity to put her uniqueness on display, and Nicki Minaj did just that for the March 2012 issue of Vogue.

The "Roman's Holiday" singer showed off her inner Smurf while coloring her skin blue and strapping on bright red frock for the Steven Klein shoot - with Nicki also chatting with the magazine about everything from fashion to her plans on starting a grand foundation.

Highlights from Miss Minaj's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Vogue!

On what she'd like to be if not a musician:
“A huge part of me wanted to be a lawyer! I would do a really good job as a prosecutor."

On learning how to dress at LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts:
“I was dressing in Tommy Hilfiger baggy shirts and Boss jeans, but then I met a person who dressed like a tiny lady—pantsuits, heels, lots of makeup. I thought she was larger than life. She once did my makeup—I had never seen myself made up before. I didn’t want to wash it off; I felt like I had one day to live this fantasy of being a glamour girl.”

On being far from label-obsessed in her downtime:
“If I can combine designer things with other things, I’m a happy camper.

On her love of high-end accessories:
"Giuseppe, Versace, YSL, and Fendi shoes. And I bought tons of Vuitton bags. When you’re a young girl from Queens, you’re going to stock up on those bags.”

On being adamant that her legacy will not be one of a free-spending, know-nothing celebrity:
“[I'm planning] an enormous foundation to nurture girls. The Nicki Minaj girl is a fun, artsy girl who can become a fierce force to be reckoned with on Wall Street! They hang on my every word, so I tell them, go to school, be ambitious. The worst position is to be financially dependent on the man.”

Held at the O2 Arena, the "Video Games" singer prettied herself up in a plunging, red off-the-shoulder floor-length gown, of which she paired with matching ballet flats while readying for the James Corden hosted ceremony to get underway.
Among the night's trophy hopefuls, Miss Del Rey is in the running for International Breakthrough Act honors while competing against Aloe Blacc, Bon Iver, Foster The People and Nicki Minaj.
Meanwhile, according to rumors, the late Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse will both be honored during the shindig tonight.
A source told press, "Whitney and Amy are two of the biggest female stars in the history of music. Both have made their mark onstage at the Brits in the past. Something would feel missing if both their legacies weren't remembered at the show."

Nicki Minaj Hosts MAC Cosmetics Glam Party

Bringing an end to a busy day of promotional appearances, Nicki Minaj was spotted at the MAC Cosmetics Viva Glam Party in New York City last night (February 15).

The “Super Bass” babe looked cool and colorful as she mingled with fellow celebs like Ricky Martin and Kelly Osbourne who also turned out for the occasion.

And though she’s one of the most recognizable hip-hop artists today, Nicki isn’t bending to the expectations of style critics who say she dresses too outrageous.

“I’m not impressed to be in that world. I’m in my own world. I think sometimes the fashion world isn’t even about clothes anymore; it’s about this ‘in’ crowd, and I’m not into that. I realized more recently that even if it’s for a fashion magazine, I’m not gonna change who I am.”

Nicki Minaj’s New Single “Starships”: Listen

Are you still unable to exorcise the frightening image of Nicki Minaj’s disturbing Grammy Awards performance of “Roman Holiday” from your mind? The perfect cure might just be her new offering, “Starships”, which is just as poppy and upbeat as Minaj’s 2011 summer smash “Super Bass” (if not more). Hear it below!

“Starships were meant to fly, hands up and touch the sky / can’t stop ’cause we’re so high, let’s do this one more time,” Minaj sings on the chorus to “Starships”, a song that plays like the female equivalent of Taio Cruz’s “Dynamite”.

Madonna's Rockin' Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show

After a lengthy hiatus from the music world, Madonna has officially made her comeback in a big way - as the Queen of Pop took center stage at Lucas Oil Field in Indianapolis for an energetically captivating Super Bowl XLVI halftime show performance on Sunday night (February 5).

The Material Girl treated the millions watching around the globe to a string of four songs, as she was dressed as Cleopatra upon entrance while performing "Vogue" followed by "Music".

Then joined by LMFAO for snippets of their songs including "Sexy and I Know It," the twelve minute mini-concert next welcomed Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. for the performance of Madonna's new single "Give Me All Your Luvin'" before the closing out with a Cee Lo Green accompanied version of "Like a Prayer".

The cheerleader themed theatrics included a swarm of drummers while the production was assisted by Cirque du Soleil and Madonna's longtime choreographer and creative director Jamie King.

The 53-year-old music legend was quite confident prior to taking the stage, as she told Anderson Cooper in a recent interview, "I have to put on the greatest show on earth, in the middle of the greatest show on earth. I have eight minutes to set it up and seven minutes to take it down and 12 minutes to put on the greatest show on earth. That's a lot of pressure."

Madonna's Super Bowl appearance comes as she's readying for the release of her twelfth studio album - which comes four years after her most recent effort - as MDNA is set to hit store shelves and iTunes on March 26th.

Madonna, Nicki Minaj & M.I.A. In “Give Me All Your Luvin’” Video

OK, so I know I'm not the most ardent of Madonna fans, and sometimes fear that her best work may be behind her, but today's release of the video for her latest single "Give Me All Your Lovin'" gave me some hope that the old gal still has some life in her yet. When I first heard the single, I wasn't thrilled, per se, but I was glad it had some energy and an undeniably catchy tune, if not a bit of a throwback to Toni Basil's "Hey, Mickey". The video, too, harkens back to the singer's glory days and reminded me that she can turn on the playful charisma when she wants to. As a play on her much anticipated Super Bowl show, the video features Nicki Minaj and M.I.A as cheerleaders and a chorus of football players supporting our beloved Madge, who's wearing lots of leather corsetry, and chunky cross necklaces—style choices directly lifted from her very own canon. I mean, at this point, everyone else has in some way appropriated parts of her persona, so I ain't mad if she dips in to her own history for some inspiration. But why am I blathering on? You probably aren't reading this, you're probably just watching the video already, as you should. Carry on.

Nicki Minaj Covers ‘Wonderland’ Magazine

Nicki Minaj kept her incredibly expressive face stoic for her Wonderland magazine cover shoot. The upcoming Super Bowl halftime performer posed for the mag’s REVOLT / REVOLT / RENEW issue in similar pink hair and pale lipstick as seen in her recent “Stupid Hoe” vid. Will you be picking up the Roman Reloaded rapper’s issue when it hits newsstands this Thursday (February 2)?
