Chris Evans And His Sexy Self Promote ‘The Avengers’ In Brazil

Hollywood hunk Chris Evans changed up his clean-cut all-American look as he sported a beard on a visit to Brazil to promote upcoming blockbuster The Avengers on April 9.

Chris Evans sympathizes with the stars of Twilight as he still has an “incredible amount” of privacy.

“It’s not like Twilight where there are 50 girls waiting outside my apartment and I’ll never be alone again. It’s not like that,” he told Prestige magazine. “I still have an incredible amount of independence and privacy, which is such a blessing. It really couldn’t have worked out any better.”

Astounded by the success of his 2011 film Captain America: The First Avenger, the Boston native tells Hong Kong’s Prestige: “I’m surprised by any movie that is successful. At this point I’ve made a lot of films. I’ve made about 20 movies and I’m probably proud of three.”

"The Avengers" World Premiere: Red Carpet

Making for quite the star-studded spectacle, the world premiere of "The Avengers" was held in Hollywood, CA on Wednesday night (April 11).

Taking over the red carpet at El Capitan Theatre for the Marvel Studios production were castmates Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner and Robert Downey Jr.

Also on hand for the Tinseltown festivities were Stellan and Alexander Skarsgard, Mark Ruffalo, Cobie Smulders, Samuel L Jackson, Audrina Patridge, Aisha Tyler, Tom Hiddleston, Hal Sparks and the motion picture's director, Joss Whedon.

Set to hit theaters on May 4th, "The Avengers" finds Nick Fury and the international agency S.H.I.E.L.D. bring together a team of super humans to form The Avengers to help save the Earth from Loki & his various membered army.

Meanwhile, a featurette and a just released clip debuted earlier in the day - with the teaser showing Downey Jr (Iron Man) having a conversation with Tom Hiddleston (Loki) about how he’ll be trounced by The Avengers if he keeps his antics up - with both videos available to be viewed below!

With his new movie "The Avengers" set to hit theaters on May 4th, Chris Evans amped up promotions by landing the cover of the May 2012 issue of DETAILS magazine.

The 30-year-old actor looked studly in a Louis Vuitton shirt and tie for the Norman Jean Roy shot spread while opening up about his taste in women and being a softy.

"I weep at everything. I emote. I love things so much. I just never want to dilute that."

On not letting his career dominate his well-being:
"I love acting. It's my playground, it let's me explore. But my happiness in this world – my level of peace – is never going to be dictated by acting."
