Zac Efron & Taylor Swift Premiere "The Lorax"
Their new movie's set to be released on March 2nd, and the stars of "The Lorax" converged on Universal Studios Hollywood for the film's red carpet premiere on Sunday afternoon (February 19).
Boasting quite the illustrious cast of voices, young co-stars Zac Efron and Taylor Swift were certainly the fan favorites as they greeted spectators lining the entrance prior to the Dr Seuss book-based motion picture's screening.
Also joining in on the premiere event were fellow castmates such as "Renaissance Man" Tinseltown mainstay Danny DeVito, "Golden Girls" gal Betty White and "The Office" actor Ed Helms.
With Chris Renaud and Kyle Balda having directed the animated tale, "The Lorax" finds "a 12-year-old boy searching for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it, he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world."
Talking about what drew her away from her musical efforts and to the film project, Miss Swift recently told press, “Dr Seuss books were a huge huge part of my childhood and it really made me fall in love with the way you can make words bounce off a page if you get them in the right syncopation,” while adding that she was “inspired by what Dr Seuss was able to do with words.”
