"The Hunger Games" Premiere

Gathering together for a promotional appearance, the stars of "The Hunger Games" hit the red carpet for their film's Los Angeles premiere on Monday night (March 12).

Held at the Nokia Theatre, at L.A. Live, castmates including Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth (with Miley Cyrus), Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, Leven Rambin and Donald Sutherland greeted press and posed for pictures ahead of the Gary Ross directed movie's debut screening.

Drawing out plenty of other celebs, the red carpet saw appearances by Shailene Woodley, Kelly Osbourne, Odette Yustman, Leslie Mann, Cody Simpson, Peter Facinelli, Kylie and Kendall Jenner and Miranda Lambert, among others.

Also starring Lenny Kravitz, the drama/sci-fi flick is "set in a future where the Capitol selects a boy and girl from the twelve districts to fight to the death on live television, with Katniss Everdeen volunteering to take her younger sister's place for the latest match."

Recently talking about what impressed him most about the shoot, Harrelson said, "Every aspect of the production: wardrobe, hair, makeup. When you see what form it takes, it's amazing, unique and totally original. Even a glass is not just a normal glass, they don't do anything normal. When you get to the Capitol, everything is different – even ice! It's pretty cool."

Based on the first novel of the trilogy by Suzanne Collins, "The Hunger Games" is slated to be released on March 23rd.
